HOMEMADE 3-INGREDIENT CAULIFLOWER GNOCCHI



Yeahhh, this HOMEMADE CAULIFLOWER GNOCCHI is about to blow your taste buds away 🍝 3-INGREDIENT HOMEMADE #CAULIFLOWER GNOCCHI🥟 inspired by @lilsipper with our own little twist 1. Large head of cauliflower 2. 2 1/2 cups of Cassava Flour 3. Nutritional yeast [for that cheesy goodness] RECIPE👇🏻 1. Steam head of cauliflower in pot 2. Put hot steamed cauliflower into @Vitamix or high speed blender. Blend until smooth. 3. Place cauliflower mash into bowl. 4. Mix in 2.5 cups of cassava flour [high in fiber and nutrients. Also high in carbs *aka energy* so it’s great for my marathon training] 5. Form little gnocchi balls with the batter. 6. Put gnocchi balls into pot with boiling water. 7. When the gnocchi float, they are all done! 8. Add nutritional yeast on top with sea salt and BOOM - You’ve got cheesy dairy free low-carb pasta :)

ALSO 👉🏼 we get asked a lot by our clients if the Cauliflower Gnocci from Trader Joe’s is healthy. For the most part, it’s better than most! However (don’t kill us!!) something to note ➡️➡️ it contains potato starch. . This powdered starch is among the few foods that increase blood sugar higher than even whole wheat. It means it can trigger weight gain in your belllly!!! It can also increas blood sugars, insulin resistance and risk for diabetes. This is not necessarily a healthy replacement for wheat! So if you’re going to have potato starch, you might as well go get the real gnocchi from your local Italian restaurant and do it riiiiight 😏 . If you can do without the potato starch, then make these bad boys IMMEDIATELY. 👆🏻👆🏻
