The Clean 15 and the Dirty Dozen | What fruits & veggies to buy organic

Navigating the aisles of the grocery store is overwhelming enough, now we have to worry about what foods are best to buy organic or conventional? We get it, it can be tough to remember and it can leave your head spinning.

Thanks to EWG [Environmental Working Group], there are two lists that can help you decipher what is worth spending more money on when buying your groceries! They are called "The Dirty Dozen" and "The Clean Fifteen". 

The Dirty Dozen = They are DIRTY produce with the highest amounts of pesticide residues. Buy ORGANIC whenever you can! If you're worried about your budget, pick 1-2 things that you and your family eat the most of and go organic to limit toxin exposure.

 
  
The Clean Fifteen= Produce with the lowest amounts of pesticide residues. You do not need to buy organic all of the time with these bad boys. They are usually things with a hard outer shell like pineapples!
