Our Go-to Natural & Immune Boosting Remedies

Our girl @juliebeyar has the flu! 🤒😷 Have you ever noticed that you tend to get sick during the worst times? Like when your schedule is the most hectic, when you're overly stressed, or even after a night out having a few too many drinks?! It’s because pushing your body past it's limits WILL suppress your immune function and make it much harder to fight off colds and viruses.

So this is just a reminder to take some time to SLOW DOWN and take care of yourself. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, time to destress, eating high quality foods, and move your body in a way that supports you. Acting preventively not only pays off in the present moment, but will most definitely in the long run!

That being said, there are a few things we do as soon as we're starting to feel sick. Here are some of our go-to natural remedies we use to help our bodies heal faster:

🌱cups on cups of BROTHS of all kinds. Bone broth is our favorite

🌱always sipping o HOT LEMON WATER (vitamin C), APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, and RAW HONEY (antimicrobial/bacterial, sooth a sore throat and act as a cough suppressant)

🌱TEA. There are lots of blends out there for immune support like @tradmedicinals Echinacea Plus or Throat Coat, ginger tea

🌱@sourcenaturals WELLNESS FORMULA Herbal Defense Complex (filled with herbs, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals like Astragalus, Echinacea, vitamin C & A, beta-Carotene)

🌱OIL OF OREGANO LEAF - We usually take this like a shot in water because it tastes awful.

🌱ELDERBERRY - high in phytonutrients, antioxidant & immune support.

🌱LIQUID SILVER SPRAY- antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal

🌱ECHINACEA GOLDENSEAL PROPOLIS SPRAY. Amazing immune combo - this stuff is GROSS but it really works.

🌱VITAMIN C- both supplements and foods that are high in it, like kiwis and oranges.

🌱 EUCALYPTUS OIL - add to a hot shower.. or boil hot water in a pot, put a few drops eucalyptus in, and stand over it from a safe distance with a towel over your head to trap the steam.
