Three Fresh Tequila Cocktails You Need For The Summer

In honor of Carly’s birthday over Memorial Day Weekend, we decided to make delish tequila drinks using fresh-to-death ingredients.

One things for sure, these three will be our summer cocktail staples!

PS. These drinks also taste amazing  without alcohol. They make great mocktails.

SPICY HOLLA-PENO MARGARITA 🌶 
3 seeded jalapeños slices, muddled
1 -1.5 shots of mezcal
1-1.5 shots trip sec (or orange liquor)
1 shot glass of lime juice
1/2 shot gloss of agave
Ice
Rub rim with lime
Cover rim with @traderjoes chili lime seasoning
Ice
Jalapeno slices to garnish

Muddle 3 seeded jalapeño slices in a cocktail shaker. Then add the rest of your ingredients and shake thoroughly. Add extra agave or lime on the rim of a glass, and then dip the top of the jar into Trader Joe's Chili Lime Seasoning (major key). Pour the mix into a glass, add more ice cubes, then a sliver of jaleopeno on the rim.

 

 


PAL-OH-MY-GOD 🌿  (PALOMA)
1/2 shot glass agave
2 shot glasses of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 shot tequila
1 cup lime and/or grapefruit seltzer
1/2 shot glass of lime juice (1/2 of lime)
sea salt (for rim)

Add all your ingredients to a cocktail shaker (or two glasses of differing sizes - I'm using a glass & a large @yeti) and shake thoroughly. Add agave or lime on the rim of one glass, and then dip the top of the jar into sea salt. Pour the mix into a glass, add more ice cubes then a sliver of grapefruit.

 


CUTE-CUMBER GINGA JUICE 🥒
1 shot of tequila
1/2 shot glass of agave
1/2 shot glass of lime
5 mint leaves, muddled
4 slices of cucumber, muddled
1 cup organic lemon & ginger seltzer (Trader Joe’s major key)
Lime on half the rim dipped in salt

Muddle 4 slices of fresh cucumber and 5 mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Then add the rest of your ingredients and shake thoroughly. Add extra lime on the rim of a glass, and then dip the top of the jar into sea salt. Pour the mix into a glass, add more ice cubes, then a sliver of cucumber on the rim.
