What is functional testing and why is it important to do?

Can I order/take a functional lab without working with them 1:1?

• KD is a functional medicine company that requires working with a practitioner to ensure your results are analyzed correctly and you are getting all the care you need to reach your health goals!

Does KD take insurance?

• Kale Diagnostics can take HSA and FSA directly, though insurance is not accepted at this time. Their team can provide superbills to submit to your insurance to see if you can get partially reimbursed, but there are no guarantees as insurance companies are all so different!

I’m trying to conceive soon. Is it recommended to wait for hormone testing until I’m done with breastfeeding?

• Hormone testing can be super helpful to see what your body needs before TTC, even while BF. In addition to looking at sex hormones, thyroid testing can also give powerful insight to support a healthy pregnancy.

I am interested in working with them for the same hormone tests Julie is taking (DUTCH Test). How does this work?
