WHAT IS FAM?⬇️
Fertility awareness is a natural method of birth control based on a woman’s menstrual cycle. This can be done by tracking days, vaginal discharge, symptoms, and/or body temperature. No side effects, no prescriptions, no medications.

Women can use FAMs to prevent pregnancy by avoiding sex or using another birth control method (like condoms *highly suggest @sustain nontoxic) on those “unsafe,” fertile days (the days before and after ovulation).

WHAT ARE FAM METHODS TO PREVENT PREGNANCY NATURALLY?⬇️

🗓 CALENDAR METHOD
You chart your period on a calendar. You can do this with a regular calendar (which we give you in our upcoming program, P.O.P.) or a period tracking app.

🤒TEMPERATURE METHOD (Basal Body Temperature)
Your body temperature naturally changes a bit throughout your cycle. Basal body temperature (BBT) is the body’s lowest resting temperature, which is best measured first thing in the morning, just after you’ve woken up. Why is there is a key link between fertility and body temperature? Right after ovulation​ happens, there is a noticeable rise in basal body temp. 💦CERVICAL MUCUS METHOD (CMM) 
You check your cervical mucus (vaginal discharge) every day. The hormones that control your menstrual cycle also make your cervix produce mucus — the gooey stuff that comes out as discharge. Your cervical mucus changes in color, texture, and amount throughout cycle (especially around ovulation) gives you clues about your fertility. We used to think it was gross, but now WE LEGIT GET WHY IT'S THERE!!! To use CMM to prevent pregnancy, you check out your mucus help you figure out when you’re going to ovulate and are the most fertile.

SOMETHING TO NOTE: According to the FAM experts, it’s most effective to COMBINE ALL 3 of these methods. When used together, they’re called the *Symptothermal Method*. It's low-key fun and eye-opening... it's incredible what you can learn about your body patterns and fertility!
